Altia Installers use Checksums

All Altia Products use an Install shield configuration that adds checksums to the installation file, signed with an Altia certificate. We also configure Install shield to sign the code generator executable. This is done to ensure the customer is getting unmolested files. At installation time, it verifies the package before it uncompresses and then verifies the code generator executable after that package is decompressed.  Since the files are signed with an Altia certificate, checksums are verified. Also, because they are signed, the checksums are guaranteed to be valid and unmolested.
